Alex and I became quick friends our sophomore year through our involvement with Cru.
Senior year, our friendship grew into a little something more, when Alex's perseverance paid off and I finally said "yes" to a date with him.
We dated the 8 months of senior year and saw God cultivating in us the same passion for sharing Jesus with people and a true enjoyment of each other. So... we got engaged!
5 months later we were married on October 31, 2009!

The first 5 years of our marriage have been spent sharing our love for Jesus with students at University of Illinois and during the summers in East Asia!

Then on May 21st, 2014, God blessed us with our baby boy, Rhodes Alexander!
In our free time we love to try new restaurants and explore coffee shops together.
